On the afternoon of Oct. 18, signing and inauguration ceremony for “SYSU student employment practice base” took place at the Headquarter of Panyu Real Estate Construction Enterprise Group Company. Li Mingzhang, Director of SYSU Career Center, Liang Zhongli, General Manager of Panyu Real Estate Construction Enterprise Group Company, and Chen Juchang, General Manager of Guangzhou Panyu Information Technology Investment Development Co., Ltd., signed “SYSU Student Employment Practice Base Agreement”. Zhu Kongchun, Deputy Secretary of SYSU, and Li Zhongmin, President of Panyu Real Estate Construction Enterprise Group Company, unveiled the plaque for the practice base of the two companies. Gao Qunyou, Secretary of Panyu State Endowment Bureau, Wang Erxin, Vice Director of SYSU Career Center and other leaders of the two companies witnessed the signing ceremony.

Deputy Secretary Zhu Kongjun introduced the basic situation and development status of Sun Yat-sen University and expressed appreciation to the two companies for their concerns and supports for the development of SunYat-senUniversity and SYSU students. Secretary Zhu fully affirmed the important role played by the practice base in the process of student development and university education, emphasizing that the practice base, which provides a good material platform for students’ internship and employment, is an indispensable teaching resource and undertakes part of the teaching work for SYSU. President Li Zhongmin made a brief introduction of the basic information of Panyu Real Estate Construction Enterprise Group Company and Panyu Information Technology Investment Development Co., Ltd. After showing gratitude for SYSU’ s support for the two companies, he expressed his expectation for more students to practice and work in the two companies and deeper cooperation in enterprise research projects and industrial-academy cooperative researches between the companies and SYSU.

Before the signing ceremony, an inauguration ceremony for VIP Reception Office of Career Center at SYSU East Campus was held at the ExecutiveBuilding at the East Campus. Deputy Secretary Zhu Kongjun and President Li Zhongmin unveiled for the VIP Reception Office. Yuan Huanbiao, Secretary of Party Working Committee of SYSU East Campus, Li Mingzhang, Director of SYSU Career Center, Vice Director Wang Erxin as well as other leaders of Panyu Real Estate Construction Enterprise Group Company attended the inauguration ceremony.
