The 2010 International Chinese Teaching Resource Building Seminar was held in SYSU between 4 and 5 in December. The seminar was co-held by the School of Chinese as a Second Language and International Chinese Textbook Research and Training Center (hereafterCenter). More than 90 representatives from the U.S.A, Australia, Canada, Korea, Singapore and Thailand attended the seminar. The conferees exchanged idea about the research, promotion and digitalization of international Chinese textbooks.

On the evening on December 4, the second meeting of this seminar was held. Specialists visited the ChineseTextbookExhibitingCenter in the company of officers of the Center. Topics like the collection of information about Chinese Textbook information and the purchase of textbooks were discussed between the specialists and the officers. Everyone expressed their own opinion and showed their willingness to support the Center.

During the seminar, the representatives and many presses presented newly books to the Center. Professor Zhou Xiaobing, Director of the Center and Dean of the Schoolof Chinese as a Second Language expressed his thanks to all the donators.
