On March 12 morning, the spokesman of the Ministry of Health, the head of the China Health Education Centre and News Propagate Centre of the Ministry of Health, Mao Qunan visited the headquarters of Magazine “The family doctor” of SYSU lectured, and authorized the publishing house to take lead in establishing scientific vocational standards for medical health information.

Mr. Mao pointed out that, the health literacy of our citizens needs to be enhanced promptly. However, as the mass media tries to publish health information nowadays, it has caused information disorder. As an authoritative magazine which has influenced many generations, “The family doctor” magazine of SYSU has the obligation and the ability to assist departments such as the China Health Education Centre in establishing scientific vocational standards for medical health information.
